Associação Projeto Biodiversidade (Project Biodiversity) is a Cabo Verdean non-profit organisation committed to conserving and restoring Sal Islands unique ecosystems.
We take a wholistic approach to conservation and not only protect and monitor species as well as restore ecosystems, but also educate on environmental issues while supporting communities to develop sustainable practices. The implementation of our conservation programmes promotes sustainable growth and change across the island.
Within the conservation of marine and terrestrial ecosystems, we focus on varied efforts to monitor and protect different key species such as sea turtles, sharks, sea birds and plants, amongst others.
