At Canterbury Gym Unity Fitness, they believe in the power of community and the impact they can make when working together toward a common goal. Recently, a tight-knit group of Unity clients demonstrated this in a remarkable way, coming together to lift almost 60,000 kilos in just 18 minutes—all in support of whale conservation. A big shout out to Unity Fitness owner Luke Bicknell for organising the event and to Coach Tamasin and clients Graeme, Mini, Louisa and Fraser who lifted a 57,000 kilo Sperm whale between them!
This event showcased the incredible impact that a small group of individuals can have when they come together with a shared purpose. It’s a testament to the idea that every action, no matter how small, contributes to a greater movement for positive change. The Team at Unity Fitness showed that their community, as well as promoting health, well-being and longevity, can be a collective force for good. Beyond the physical achievement, they have made a meaningful contribution to a cause that resonates with the values we hold dear. As we celebrate their achievement, we look forward to future initiatives that allow us to use collective power to make a difference in the world.
